He has spoken on Diangana for the very first time following the Hammers 4-0 thrashing in the Scotsman’s maiden match in charge. Moyes said:
“He’s a really good player. It’s a decision we’ll make as January goes on. Playing in a team at the top of the league can do the boy a world of good. If we need him, there’s no problem bringing him back.”
The 56-year-old’s comments have led to one reporter, James Fielden, clarifying the situation to The Athletic’s Steve Madeley, and it offers up an encouraging sign for the Baggies.

Promotion boost
Keeping hold of Diangana for the rest of the season could really define whether or not Albion gain promotion to the top-flight.
Slaven Bilic has been faced with his absence six times this campaign, and his side have failed to win a single game which is a damning consequence of his injury.
The Baggies have won just one of their last six games yet still remain within touching distance of top spot, so his return needs to happen sometime soon before Leeds start to build momentum.
Diangana has directly contributed to ten goals from 19 appearances this season, five scored by himself and five from assists, per WhoScored.
In his absence, Kyle Edwards and Filip Krovinovic have failed to perform on the left-wing, only the latter scoring on one occasion, while Matheus Pereira has also been forced out there in several games to try and fill the void left behind.
But his influence is better suited through the middle where he has provided 12 assists on top of five goals, via Transfermarkt.
