da aviator aposta: Aston Villa are among a handful of clubs that are interested in Newcastle United winger Rolando Aarons.
What’s the word?
da wazamba: Aarons has been part of the Newcastle fold since 2012 when he moved from Bristol City’s academy.
The 22-year-old made his first-team debut in 2014, but under manager Rafael Benitez he has struggled to grasp a place in the setup.
So far this season, Aarons has made just three appearances in all competitions and none of those were Premier League starts.
In fact, the winger has played just 50 minutes of action in the top flights as a substitute.
According to The Mirror, Villa, as well as Huddersfield Town and Crystal Place, have shown an interest in Aarons.
Due to the player’s lack of minutes on the pitch, rival clubs feel that they could be in with a chance of sealing his signature.
Would he suit Villa?
The Midlands outfit are performing well in the Championship as they currently sit fifth in the standings.
Steve Bruce’s side are unbeaten in their last four games having won three and drawn the other.
Everything seems to be going to plan, but the team could do with an injection of pace down the flanks.
Aarons could provide that but his lack of game time suggests that he may need time to find his feet.
