da spicy bet: Liverpool fans have taken to Twitter to react after it was reported by the Daily Mail that Loris Karius would not be attending the Champions League final, as he feels his presence would have been a distraction.
As we all know, the German keeper was almost single handedly at fault for the Reds’ 3-1 loss to Real Madrid in last year’s final.

This obviously made him a hated figure amongst Liverpool fans for some time, and he was even replaced by Alisson Becker just weeks later as Karius joined Besiktas on a two-year loan deal.
Liverpool have offered tickets to all of their players who are out on loan, but Karius has declined the invitation and will be going on holiday instead due to the aforementioned reason.
