It has not quite happened for the 19-year-old at the Bernabeu, however, and to date he has only made two competitive appearances for Real Madrid’s first team.
The 12-time Norway international has just returned to Los Blancos following 18 months on loan at Heerenveen, and has been involved in their preparations for the new season.

It is understood that Odegaard will leave on loan once again before the new Spanish season starts, however, and Villa have been linked with a move.
There is absolutely no question that Odegaard has ability, and he could well take the Championship by storm if he makes the move to Villa Park.
