da bet vitoria:
da roleta: Nemanja Vidic’s agent has confirmed that the defender will be out of action for a number of months after picking up a knee injury in midweek, and has distanced his client with a move away from Old Trafford.
The now-retired Serbia international was stretchered off in The Red Devils’ 2-1 defeat to Basel in Switzerland on Wednesday night, and is likely to face a lengthy period on the sidelines.
Reports in the Italian press had linked current Serie A leaders Juventus with a move for the United captain, but this has been quashed by Silvano Martina.
“The interest of Juventus?
It seems to me out of place to talk about it, after the injury to the cruciate ligament yesterday,” the representative told calciomercato.com.
“He’ll be out of action for several months, so even if it were true, now it would have no sense to talk about it.
“In any case, there never was anything concrete, but the media sometimes don’t know what to write.
“Interest from other clubs? In the market a club comes forward for a player when they know that something is broken between him and his current side.
“Instead, Nemanja is the captain of Manchester United,
not just any club,” he concluded.
Sir Alex Ferguson will look to Rio Ferdinand, Chris Smalling, Jonny Evans and Phil Jones to cover in Vidic’s absence.
