da cassino online: According to The Mirror, Zlatan Ibrahimovic is yet to sign a new deal for Manchester United and is waiting to see if they qualify for next season’s Champions League before deciding his future.
da cassino: What’s the word?
Ibrahimovic has been, by some way, Manchester United’s best player this season and his goals have been vital in their surge towards the Champions League spots.
Indeed, without him you feel that they would be nowhere near the top four and certainly without the EFL Cup: so getting him to agree terms has to be of paramount importance.
They’re two points off where they need to be and will need to keep their form up if they are to replace one of those sides above them.
What was said?
As quoted by The Mirror, the Swedish striker’s words are hardly comforting if you’re a United fan:
“Let’s see what happens. I mean the moment, how I feel, the situation. We have another two months of the season to go.”
He certainly seems ready to hold out to see what happens in the coming games, then, but you do get the feeling that if he did want to stay no matter what, he would have put pen to paper by now.
Should United worry?
Absolutely. The former PSG man has been the star of the show so far for United and their season would have gone far worse had he not come in during the summer.
His goals and personality have led the club through the troubles of the earlier part of this season and if he goes in the next window he’ll take a huge amount of replacing.
The Red Devils are on the brink of getting back to the top – but only if Ibrahimovic stays put, you feel.
