da dobrowin: Everton were thrashed 5-1 at home by Atalanta in their penultimate Europa League group game at Goodison Park on Thursday night, and Toffees fans weren’t impressed with Davy Klaassen’s performance.
da betcris: The attacking midfielder was expected to make a big impression for the Merseyside outfit this season following a big-money move from Ajax during the summer, but he has struggled to make his mark and the match against the Serie A outfit was his first appearance for the club since David Unsworth took caretaker charge last month.
The 24-year-old started on the left but he failed to make much of an impact on the game before he was replaced by Nikola Vlasic in the 62nd minute, and he is unlikely to be involved for the Premier League clash against Southampton on Sunday.
Everton supporters were quick to have their say on his largely anonymous showing via social media, and while one simply labelled him a “no-hoper”, another described him as “simply not good enough”.
